"Hidden gem in Gopeng Hill. Excellent dining experience in kampung style. the surrounding natural hills make the dining experience very special, u can see chickens, ducks, pineapple, coconut trees, durian trees etc, n lots of flies. really really lots of flies better to call and prebook the meals as they only prepare just enough to prevent food wastage. We try their signature asam laksa. soup broth tastes sour n sweet, for me is less spicy, not bad. we ordered beggar chicken too, taste good coz they use kampung chicken to make their chicken dishes. if u want to try their chicken dishes, better to call and order in advance to avoid disappointment. The place is not huge and can accommodate 6-7 tables only. The road leading to this place is very narrow n beware of the high and abrupt speed humps. drive carefully n slow down the speed. prepare *cash* to pay for ur meal, they didn't accept card for payment. overall is good, we have special dining experience here, worth to come and try."

"Excellent dining experience in rural setting. We lucked out and managed to have Beggars chicken w/o pre ordering. Chicken flavour was rich, intense and deeply satisfying. The Asam laksa was very decent, with prawn paste add on even more so. Vegetable was tender and nicely fried Probably best call ahead as they have limited tables The road leading to this place is very narrow and a bit rough in certain places. Beware of the high and abrupt speed humps"

"Basically most of the food need to book in advance, because If you didn't then best of luck cause when we arrive earlier it's full house for those had already make their reservation, and decided to wait for a table to clear out just to try their laksa. In conclusion, for the best experience, make a booking in advance at least a day before your visit."
